Viva la Viv
Recording Studio Major and sound committee chair for The Peel Vivian Rogers hired me to design her EP album cover. After taking a photoshoot in her recording studio and listening to her EP, we had a conversation on the direction I felt it should go. I imagined it to mimic a 90s-early 20s style that solo artists like Regina Sparks and Fiona Apple used; photography and minor visual elements (colors/symbols/fonts) hinting back at the EP.
Typefaces Used: Baskerville Semibold: The Baskerville typeface was designed by John Baskerville, an English printer, in the 18th century. It was first released in 1757. SloopScript Bold Three: Sloop Script is a typeface designed by Richard Lipton. It was released in 2000.
