TRANSPOSING MUSIC
SHAPES INTO ALBULM ART
Probally one of my favorite projects in Typography 2. We were tasked to listen to a song and an alternate way of reading the music. I decided to create a linear system of shapes that would symbolize all of the different sounds from the song "All I Need" by Air. I broke the song into measures by second so it could be followed as someone listened to it.
The final task was to make a final product from the material. I developed an album cover suited for a vinyl that incorporated the shapes (some 3D others 2D) from the original system.
