Branding The Peel

So you may be wondering...what is the peel? Who are you to the peel Meredith?
The Peel is Appalachian State University's Literature Arts and Review Magazine. I have served as director with 2 other designers the year prior..This being year 2. My goal was to work with those same directors and establish branding guidelines so that The Peel could have a unified look, and better serve the community of artists and writers in Boone. What is pictured below is work from the Fall semester in preparation for the Spring Semester, which is when we hop into the production of the magazine.
These were the slides I presented to the editorial board. We ended up going with a free-for-all on fonts..but the color palette did hold up.
